Euterpe

While searching images for inspiration for Euterpe, the producer/DJ, I noticed a strong distinction in how the sexes were represented. The male DJs were all stooped, hunched over their work, serious with their intent. Now and again they might wave their hands in the air, or dramatically emphasize the drop. They tended to be nondescript fellows, elevated to the stage by their talent for making people dance. The female DJs were mostly very attractive young women, scantily clad, leading the party with their unabashed enthusiasm. They bounce and sway and are always on, on, on.

This Muse looks inward and makes music for her tribe. She does not demonstrate or advertise. She spins. We are welcome to spin along.
